MARTIN & MONA: MEANT TO BE ❤️❤️❤️

Oops! ☺️😊😀 Can’t help it again. Inspired by the various happenings in the lives of Martin and Mona from SP2 week 13 (April 23-27) here goes another made up scenario—

Martin is home at his penthouse unit in Brandenburg Hotel and is trying his best to fall asleep. He’s thinking about Lisa. It’s supposed to be a happy day for her as they celebrated her Despedida de Soltera together with her family and friends, but then her dad had to ruin it right after she got home.

After witnessing what happened to Lisa at the hands of her very own dad earlier this afternoon, he can’t help but worry about her. He’s pretty sure this isn’t the first time that happened to Lisa. “Is that the reason why she’s been a very obedient daughter to Tito Juancho all this time? Did he always have to hurt her so he could get what he wants? Is that the reason why she couldn’t say no to the engagement nor to the wedding? What kind of father would do that to his own child?”

He also can’t help ponder on what Mang Ramon said when they met earlier that night, “Sinasabi mo sa king hindi ka mahal ni Lisa. Iba ang nakikita ko pag magkasama kayo eh. Nagmamahalan kayo, Ser Martin…”

His thoughts are interrupted as his cellphone suddenly beeps with a message from Lisa. It’s late and she’s still awake just like him.

“Hi Martin! Thank you. Wag ka nang mag-alala. Okay na ako.”

Instead of replying with a text, he gives her a call. She answers after one ring.

“Martin.”

“Are you sure you’re okay, Lisa?”

“Yes. Okay ako.”

“Did your dad try to call you?”

“Yes, pero di ko muna sinagot tawag niya.”

“You don’t have to force yourself to talk with him if you don’t want to yet. That’s understandable. Just stay there with Kim. And anytime you need me, just give me a call, okay? I meant what I said, Lisa. No one has the right to hurt you. Especially not your dad.”

“Alam ko naman yun, Martin. Thank you talaga para sa kanina. Na-appreciate ko ang pagpapahalaga at pag-aalaga mo sa kin.”

“We’re friends, Lisa. Whatever happens, I’ll always be here for you.”

“Thank you, Martin.”

“Good night, Lisa. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

As Martin tries to sleep, he can’t help but think about Lisa again…

“Should I grace our wedding and marry you, Lisa? I know that the right thing to do is I shouldn’t cos you’ve made it quite clear even up to this day that you don’t love me at all, and all that you can offer is friendship. Wala pa ring nagbago. Hindi mo pa rin ako mahal. I’ve already killed off whatever feelings I had for you after seeing you so happy dancing with that guy before. That’s why when we met sa charity gala, I was so determined not to mind you at all. But then things changed overnight. The more time we spent together and because of the way you’ve been treating me lately, I fell in love with you all over again. If it’s even possible, I’m more in love with you now. Yes, Lisa, I love you again. Or did I ever really stop loving you? All I know for now is I want to protect you from all harm, be by your side, and show you how much I love and care for you. Pero lalo akong naguluhan sa mga sinabi ni Mang Ramon kanina. He says he sees love not just in my eyes, but in your eyes, too, whenever he sees us together. Is that even possible, Lisa? Do we have a chance at happiness, too? I hope you’ll let me know. Should we marry each other, Lisa? I seriously no longer know what to think. Tell me, please.”

At Kim’s place, Mona is also trying her best to fall asleep, too. Her mind and heart are in a bit of a quandary, too. She knows it’s Miss Lisa he loves, so he’s totally off limits. She shouldn’t even think nor daydream about Martin. She can’t help it. She’s hopelessly, helplessly, irrevocably in love with her Ser Martin. She’s crying as she thinks of her beloved Ser Martin.

“Ser Martin, pasensiya na talaga ha. Alam ko ang laki ng kasalanan ko sa yo. Wala kang ipinakita sa kin at sa mga magulang ko kundi kabutihan, pero nakuha pa kitang lokohin sa pagpayag ko kay Miss Lisa na magpanggap bilang siya. Nasasaktan akong makitang masaktan ka. Pasensiya na talaga. Alam ng Diyos, lahat nang ginawa ko bilang si Miss Lisa tuwing kaharap ka ay para pasayahin ka. Hindi ko rin sinasadyang mahalin ka, Ser Martin. Bago pa man nangyari lahat ng ito, ikaw na ang Sharamdara ko, diba? 😍Mapagbiro talaga ang tadhana. Maya’t-maya tayo pinagtatagpo. Ano naman ibig sabihin nun diba? Una kitang nakita sa sabungan. Tapos sa Enchanted Kingdom. Tapos dun sa isa ko pang raket kung saan nakipag-date ka kay Chikitita. Hmpph! Dun ka pa pala nakatira sa Brandenburg kung san ako nagtatrabaho. Tapos kinuha mo pa akong tagapangalaga ni Sharamdara. Tapos naging mag text mates pa tayo at naging magkaibigan. Pati mga magulang ko nilapitan mo pa para kay Sharamdara. Wala bang ibig sabihin lahat yun? Tapos ikaw pa ang first kiss ko! Salamat, Sharamdara. 😍 First love na, first kiss pa! Hehehe. Pasensiya na. Eto na naman kinikilig na naman ako sa pag-iisip sa yo. ❤️ Haay, Ser Martin! Dapat bang umamin na ako na hindi ako si Miss Lisa? Pero nakapangako ako kay Miss Lisa eh. Gustong-gusto ko nang ipagtapat sa yo itong napakalaking kasalanan ko sa yo na ‘to. Sorry talaga, Ser Martin. Sorry talaga. Ilang araw na lang kasal na natin, este niyo ni Miss Lisa. Okay lang kaya siya sa Ceripana? Makakarating kaya siya bago sa araw ng kasal niyo? Pano kung hindi? Dapat na bang umamin ako sa yo? Kung di siya makabalik agad, tama bang pumunta ako sa kasal eh hindi naman ako si Miss Lisa? Paano kung saktan ako o si Miss Lisa ni Ser Juancho kung walang dumalo sa kasal? Grabe siya! Nakakatakot siya. Maswerte ako na magulang ko sina Mangs at Pangs. Miss na miss ko na rin sina Mangs at Pangs. Gulong-gulo na ko. Paano na nga ba? Gustong-gusto ko na aminin sa yo ang pagpapanggap ko bilang Miss Lisa, Ser Martin. Pero paano?”

Martin and Lisa both fall asleep pondering on their own dilemmas.

Of course, we know, what’s meant to happen will happen. Let’s trust that because Martin and Mona are truly meant to be, everything will fall into place soon, and that their journey to love will commence soon. Missing the real Mona. Can’t wait to see Martin interact with the real Mona. Exciting times ahead… 😊

It’s S2P week 14 this week and it’s only a week before Martin and Lisa’s wedding—

Will Martin show up at his own wedding? Since he is in a sort of dilemma because of how ‘Lisa’ has been treating him as of late, will he have a change of heart and show up at the altar and marry her? How will Lisa ensure Leo doesn’t die from the gunshot wound he got from protecting her? How long will she and Leo have to stay in Ceripana? Will Lisa be back in Manila in time for her wedding? Will she follow Leo’s advice and stop the wedding from happening because she doesn’t love Martin? (Ha, can’t help but say it again! She never even tried!) Will Mona come clean soon and tell Martin everything? Who will Martin face at the altar? And who will he end up marrying?

MARTIN & MONA: THE PERFECT FIT ❤️

Here we are again, watching JoChard in scenes we most love seeing them in— happy, kilig, and totally, irrevocably in love with each other. 😍 Thank you, Star Creatives, for allowing us to bear witness again to the undeniable, incomparable and magical chemistry of our most beloved JoChard. Their scenes together feel so real, most especially so last week, as Martin and Mona became so much closer to each other. 😍

The happenings the past week may be bittersweet for Mona as she secretly plays ‘Lisa’, the fiancée, but we are so happy to finally have been given a glimpse of just how right and perfect Martin and Mona are for each other. They are truly the perfect fit.

Martin

Warm and kindhearted Martin is in a bind. He’s been receiving mixed signals from ‘Lisa’. She says she doesn’t care, but her actions— the looks of longing she gives him, her protectiveness, and her jealousy over Rachel, say otherwise. He’s starting to think that “perhaps in the back of Lisa’s subconscious mind, there might be a tinge of feeling” that she has come to love her.

How ironic is it that Martin will seek love advice from the same woman who’s currently sending him those mixed signals— Mona masquerading as Lisa?!?

Mona

Martin doesn’t know it yet, but Mona is already someone very special to him. They’ve become really good friends. He has learned to entrust her with his innermost thoughts and feelings. She’s become the first person he thinks of every time he’s in need of a listening ear or a sound advice. What she says and the advices she gives him matter to him. He has come to value him as a very good friend. And now that ex and former best friend Rachel is out of the picture, Mona just might turn out to be his very best friend soon.

Although she’s playing ‘Lisa’ the way she’s been responding to Martin shows us an undeniable fact– she cares so much about making Martin happy at all costs.

Irony of ironies, it’s hilarious to find Mona accidentally blurt out 😂 to Martin that he should ask ‘Lisa’ directly about how she truly feels for him. (Really thought when she broke down in front of sleeping Martin last Friday that Martin was simply feigning sleep and actually heard her. Whew! Wonder how that would have turned out if it actually happened.)

‘Lisa’

Warm and kindhearted Mona is in a bind. She’s simply oozing with so much love for Martin (she’s already acknowledged that fact w Kim after the Rachel incident— where Rachel pushes her in the pool and almost drowns), yet she knows that in order to play Lisa’s part well, she has to make Martin believe that she doesn’t care about what he does, or how he feels at all. She must also show him she is unaffected by the presence of Rachel. She tries her best, yet falters. Although ‘Lisa’ didn’t say outright whether she’s in love with Martin or not when he confronted her, how she chose to answer the question Martin posed, clearly shows he means something to her. She knew he’ll be devastated to hear that ‘Lisa’ doesn’t love him’ and she clearly didn’t want to see him saddened by the truth. So she doesn’t blatantly tell Martin she doesn’t love him, but the aftermath of her response and actions (that they become friends and bond w each other starting that night), makes Martin happier and even more at peace w their relationship. (My 8-year old niece couldn’t help but shout, “What is she doing??? Lagot siya kay Lisa!” Even my niece knows Mona went against what she and Lisa agreed on.)

Kim

In such a short time, it’s quite refreshing to see how Mona has won Kim’s friendship. Kim may be Lisa’s best friend, but we know Mona has become a good friend to her, too. Funny to see how Kim also refers to Rachel as chiquitita and how she gave Rachel that smug look when Martin and Mona ended up as each other’s partner in the ‘blindfold’ activity.

We echo Kim’s sentiments, “Sana nga iba na lang ang sitwasyon. Yung malayang magmahal si Lisa ng taong gusto niyang mahalin. Yung mabibigyan ka ng chance na masuklian yung pagmamahal mo kay Martin. Sana nga ikaw na lang una niyang nakilala eh. Sana nga ikaw na lang ang mahal niya. Kasi alam mo, you (Mona) deserve all the love in the world. And Martin truly deserves someone like you.”

Can’t help but wonder how disheartened with Mona Martin will be when he finds out about the switch.💔 Thing is, we don’t want to see Martin thinking Lisa loves him now, when she clearly doesn’t care abt him at all. That will only bring Martin so much heartache and pain when he eventually finds out. We no longer want to see Martin fall for Lisa even harder when we can clearly see that it’s Mona he’s meant to be with.

Wasn’t it such a joy to see Martin and Mona bond and share their thoughts about their dream wedding, dream house and dream married life with each other? Best of all, they even exchange ‘foil paper’ rings to seal not only their friendship, but so much more, I guess.

Extended Ang Pagpapanggap

And just when we thought Mona’s time with Martin ended after the team building seminar, our MaMon hearts are in for another treat. The switch is extended for one more week as Lisa and Leo’s are in danger and can’t come home yet.

More time with Martin for Mona!!! 😍 Should she be happy or not? And whoa! It’s also a week before Martin & Lisa’s wedding! Will Mona be the one whom Martin will meet at the altar? Will Martin not show up as he’s planned or has he changed his mind now that things seem great between him and Lisa? Will Mona come clean before the wedding? Now that he’s seen exactly that Mona & Lisa lookalike (I’m sure he’ll see the Mona welcome home tarp in the party Leb and Mona’s parents organized. And Leb will most likely keep repeating just how Mona and Lisa look so much alike.) will Martin sort of think that the Lisa he’s with now is a different person?!?😳 Will Mona say ‘I do’ to Martin on behalf of Lisa?!? Yikes!

So excited to see S2P this week (week 13) and watch the exciting, kilig scenes in store for our MaMon hearts. 😀

THE PIYANSEY, THE EXXXXX, AND MARTIN

I’d like to think that the highlight of the past week’s (April 9-13) hilarious, kilig and heartwarming MaMon episodes was that pool scene last Friday where we see Martin rescue a drowning ‘Lisa’ in the pool after Rachel deliberately pushes her. That much anticipated JoChard 😍 pool scene revealed to us three (3) truths:

1.Martin’s ex, RACHEL, is out to win Martin back at all costs,

2.(MONA) ‘Lisa’ is so in love with Martin and so darn jealous of Rachel,

3.and MARTIN will always come to rescue and save Lisa from all her troubles.

RACHEL, The Exxxxx

It’s understandable why RACHEL wants to win Martin back. They were good together. She still loves him. She knows he’s headed for a major heartbreak if he’ll end up with Lisa. And he’s the nicest guy ever. Plus he’s such a prized catch!

Even if Rachel keeps telling Martin that she’s only being the way she is with Lisa because she’s so tired of seeing her treat Martin like crap, we sure know something that Martin doesn’t. She wants Martin back all to herself and she’ll stop at nothing to get what she wants.

I admit that learning about her history with Martin was kinda sad. It looks like though Martin may have loved her in the past, he didn’t love her enough to seriously consider marrying her nor spending a lifetime with her. Obviously, it’s only been with Lisa whom Martin’s dreaming of a forever with. Give it up, Rachel. Martin didn’t love you enough then, and he only sees you as a good friend now. Listen to your son, Patrick. Stop pursuing Martin! You failed to keep him then. Why are you even thinking you’ll be able to get him back now??? (But thanks are still in order, I guess. For the team building and for pushing Mona in the pool!😍 By trying to win Martin back for yourself, you’re actually giving Martin and Mona more opportunities to become even closer! So thank you, Rachel!)

(MONA) ‘LISA’, The Piyansey

We all know for certain that the one who joined Rachel in the pool isn’t sungit Lisa, but very jealous MONA! 😊 No matter how much Mona tries to be sungit Lisa, her real self, her real feelings, comes out whenever it comes to Martin.

Unknowingly, Martin is also giving Mona more reasons to fall even more in love with him! This week alone, he singlehandedly rescued her parents from the trouble they got into with their annoying neighbors. He didn’t have to, but he still came to their rescue because Mona is a friend.

Mona’s definitely fallen for Martin! Hook, line and sinker. 😂 Remember her daydream??? Martin-“Honey, hindi pa ba tayo magdidilig ng halaman?” 😍 She simply can’t stop thinking about her honey!!!

And because she’s so darn jealous, didn’t you enjoy her witty retorts to Rachel? Excuse me, piyansey… Hindi ba exxxxx ka na lang… Exxxxxcuse me…Buhay ko na ‘to (LGC), hindi lang ERA… Noon, dati, before. Paborito mong mga salita yun ‘no? Siguro pinaglihi ka sa nakaraan… Wag kang papansin…

MARTIN– Rachel’s Ex, Lisa’s Fiance and Mona’s Friend

For MARTIN, his ex Rachel is only a friend now whom he’s helping out. Fiancée Lisa, because she’s special to him, is someone whom he wants to help out, too. Hence, he plans to ensure the merger between their two companies comes through, even if he no longer intends to marry her so she can get the happiness and freedom she craves.

And Mona? Through all the recent happenings in his life, she’s definitely been a good friend and adviser to him. She’s always been there to listen and to give advise every time Martin gives her a call. He sees her as a friend. He trusts that she and her family can take care of Sharamdara. He’s also thinking of leaving Sharamdara with her. He even wants to take her and her family out on a date before his supposed wedding. She’s definitely become someone dear to him, too.

Martin feels that the Lisa he encountered since the charity ball is tons different from the Lisa he’s always known. She’s been smiling a lot, isn’t innately masungit, and is friendly with everyone. She talks differently, too. Most importantly, this ‘Lisa’ whom he’s with now seems to look at him with concern in her eyes (something he says he has never seen since his second engagement with Lisa).

Yes! It looks like it’s only a matter of time before Martin finds out the truth. Oyo’s already given him the best advice. Watch her closely and find out why she suddenly changed.

How will Martin find out he’s been spending the past week with a mere Lisa lookalike and not Lisa? Is he even aware of Lisa’s swimming skills? How will Martin react when he finds out there’s been a switch? Will he immediately fall for the Lisa lookalike the moment he realizes it’s from her eyes he saw concern and jealousy? Once he learns about the switch, will he let the lookalike know ASAP that he already knows or will he continue to let her believe he has no doubts whatsoever that she’s Lisa? (Pwede bang huwag muna niya ipaalam? So many possible hilarious, kilig scenarios might just arise from Mona’s non-knowledge of the truth…). And how will he react the moment he finds out that it’s his friend Mona, who’s actually the Lisa lookalike? Yikes!

Another S2P Week to Watch Out For

Looks like we’re all in for more exciting episodes this week 12 (April 16-20, 2018) when Mona becomes even more territorial as she protects Martin from his ex who’s out to get him back all for herself. Kinda excited to learn, too, if the real Lisa will be back in Manila by the time her agreed two week switch with Mona is over, or will her life be in danger as Mr. Chua’s men mistake her for Mona and catch her? How will Leo rescue her from those bad men who seem to be entangled with the bad guys he’s been trying to catch himself?

MAHAL MO BA SI MARTIN? -Rachel to Mona

Inspired by yesterday’s episode, #S2PBattleOfTheHopias, here goes another scenario—

MAHAL MO BA SI MARTIN? – Rachel to ‘Lisa’

‘Lisa’ to Rachel, “Hindi ba EXXXXX ka na lang? Kung ganun, wala ka na dapat pakialam. Kung sasagutin ko naman ang tanong mo, tungkol lamang sa trabaho dahil yun lang naman ang lugar mo sa akin… sa aming dalawa (ni Martin).”

‘Lisa’ smiles as Rachel stares. Looks like Mona’s witty retort put her in her rightful place. She is nothing to Martin. She’s only a friend he’s helping out. Nothing more.

Martin then arrives and sees them both, “Hey, I’ve been looking for you ladies! Meeting’s about to start. “

‘Lisa’ smiles and announces, “Magbabanyo muna ako.” Staring at Rachel, she says, EXXXXXcuse me!”

Martin: Ok… So, what was that about?

Rachel: Nothing. I was about to get coffee, but ‘Lisa’ and I made small talk muna.

Martin: Oh. Let me go ahead then, while you get your coffee. I’ll see you in the conference room.

Rachel: Ok, Martin.

Inside the CR, Mona is silently talking to herself once again. “Haay buti na lang nakalusot! Hinahamon talaga ako ng chiquititang ito ah! Ang yabang ng dating! Kulang naman ng manggas ang damit niya! Naku Miss Lisa, wag kang mag-alala. Sisiguruhin kong mapoprotektahan kita dito sa ahasssss na ‘to! Ang lakas ng loob talaga na magtanong kung mahal mo daw ba si Sir Martin. EXXXXX na nga lang siya! Ibig sabihin hindi siya mahal ni Ser Martin! Piyansey ka kaya! Ikaw ang mahal! Hay bakit ba naman kasi ipinasok siya ulit dito ni Sir? Galit pa kaya si Ser Martin sa yo kaya gusto kang inisin? Ikaw naman kasi. Ano bang ayaw mo kay Ser Martin, Miss Lisa? Eh nasa kanya na ang lahat? Gwapo! Mabait! Masipag! Mapagmahal na anak! Responsable! Magaling sa trabaho! Mukhang napakabait na boss! Mapagkumbaba! Maalalahanin! At higit sa lahat, mahal na mahal ka! Wala ka nang hahanapin pa! Swerte mo, Miss Lisa! Sana ako na lang ikaw! Ay!!! Hep hep! Awat na Mona! Wag kang ilusyonada! Hindi ikaw ang mahal ni Sir Martin!!! Si Miss Lisa lang.”

As Martin walks back to the conference room, he can’t help but go back to the scene he walked in earlier. He felt there was tension between Lisa and Rachel and wondered what they were talking about, “Imposible naman that Lisa is jealous. She already made it clear that she doesn’t love me at all. But why does she seem so affected by Rachel’s presence? The last time naman that she met Rachel, she made it clear she wasn’t jealous, and it even seemed like she wanted me to get back together with her. Why are you so difficult to read these days, Lisa??? Have your feelings for me changed??? Stop it, Martin! Don’t even go there! Masasaktan ka lang ulit. Tungkol pa rin lahat ‘to sa negosyo. Yun lang yun. So carry on with your plans. Ensure the merger between C&C and LGC happens. Find out who’s smuggling goods at Laurea. Leave Cosovich in good hands. Then give Lisa her happiness and freedom.”

After fixing herself up, ‘Lisa’ walks out of the CR and head to the conference room. She stops as she sees Martin just outside the conference room in deep thought. She stares lovingly at him. Then Kim arrives. ‘Lisa’ then calls Martin’s attention, “Martin? Itutuloy na ba natin meeting?”

Martin absent-mindedly looks at her and says, “Yes?”

‘Lisa’ asks again, “Di pa ba natin itutuloy ang meeting? Marami pa kaming naiwan na trabaho sa Laurea.”

Martin responds, “Let’s go and get this over and done with. We’re more or less done. We just have to discuss our plans for the team building.”

Martin opens the door to the conference room, as he ushers ‘Lisa’ and Kim inside.

Who’s excited about the upcoming team building? I am! Can’t wait to witness what adventure awaits Martin and Mona in that team building!

Still hoping that Martin finds out about the switch soon, before he falls even more in love with this ‘Lisa’ who is no longer Lisa, but actually Mona.

AFTER BREAKFAST AT MONA’S

Can’t help but write a scenario (my first ever, for S2P! 😊) about what would’ve been a possible car convo Martin and ‘Lisa’ had after they left the Bulalayaos in last April 5’s episode of #S2PLoveIsIntheAir. Here goes—

AFTER BREAKFAST AT MONA’S

After they bid the Bulalayaos goodbye, dazed and confused Martin walks towards his Jeep together with Lisa. Both board the Jeep almost at the same time with Martin staring at ‘Lisa’. He still can’t believe how extra nice Lisa was with the Bulalayaos. He shrugs off the thoughts forming in his head and heart. Lisa sees him staring as if she already knows what he’s thinking. She says, “Mababait sila.”

Martin: Kayang-kaya mo palang magpanggap na mabait at marunong makisama. At ang galing mong magpanggap na sarap na sarap ka sa breakfast kanina. Lalo na sa coffee which I know you hate drinking.

Lisa: Hindi pagpapanggap yun. (Ano na nga yung ‘gusto ko sila’ sa English?) I like them. Mababait nga kasi sila! Tsaka gutom na talaga ako kaya kasalanan mo. (Hay, Ser Martin tama na sa pag tatanong pls.)

Martin: Talaga? Eh di sana you drank your smoothie while you were waiting for me earlier.

Lisa: (Ayoko ngang inumin yang berdeng lasang insekto na yan! Wala na kong maisip na palusot ah. Ano ba yan!) Ah basta! So, saan naman tayo pupunta ngayon?

Martin: Why? Don’t tell me, sa dami ng kinain mo kina Mang Ramon, you’re still hungry?

Lisa: Martin! Hindi na ako HANGRY. Busog na busog na ko.

Martin: What? 😳😂😳 (O, marunong din pala ‘tong babae na ‘to magpatawa!)

Lisa: Sabi mo diba kasi ikaw masusunod. Kaya nga nagtatanong na ako at di kita pinapangunahan.

Martin: (At masunurin pa ha. Anong nakain nito?) Ikaw ba talaga yan, Lisa?

Lisa stiffens then says, “Ako nga ito. It’s it’s me, Lisa… Lisa Laureano. Wala ng iba.”

Martin: Ever since last night, parang there’s something different about you kasi.

Lisa: (Sungit Lisa. Sungit!) Anong ano? Anong different? Wala ‘no!

Martin: (Shakes his head) Call it gut feel. Alam ko meron. Don’t worry! I’ll find out soon.

Lisa: (Awat na Ser Martin! Naku Miss Lisa, bumalik ka na, pakiusap!!! Mukhang mabubuko na ako ni Ser Martin!) Wala nga! So, san na nga tayo pupunta?

Martin: Oo na. Ihahatid na kita sa office.

Lisa: Okay. Salamat. (Naku baka magtanong na naman itong si Ser Martin at humaba na naman ang usapan. Anong gagawin ko? Ah…) Sige. Matutulog na muna ako.

As ‘Lisa’ feigns sleep, she silently talks to herself.

Martin looks at ‘Lisa’ and shakes his head as he reviews everything that transpired at Mona’s place earlier.

Her thoughts as she steals glances at him while still trying to feign sleep— “Awat na Mona! Bawal nerbiyosin sa mga pinagtatatanong ni Ser Martin! At lalong bawal kiligin sa mga kinikilos niya kanina pa! Pero bakit kasi ang bait-bait niya kina Mangs at Pangs? 😍 Magalang na, mapagkumbaba pa, tapos maaalalahanin pa. At sobrang gwapo!!! 😍 Saan ka pa? At ano na nga yung sinabi niya tungkol sa kin? Eeeeh! Mabait daw ako. Nakakatuwa. At marunong daw akong magpagaan ng mundo. Hay, Ser Martin! Salamat sa pagdala mo sa kin sa bahay namin. Masaya akong makita ulit sina Mangs at Pangs. Hindi mo lang alam kung gano ko sila ka-miss. Salamat talaga. Ano ba talagang ayaw sa yo ni Miss Lisa? Eh sobrang ano na nga yun sa English? FERPECT! Yun nga. Ano bang ayaw sa yo ni Miss Lisa eh ferpect ka kaya???

His thoughts as he checks on sleeping ‘Lisa’ from time to time— “Alam ko sabi ko I should spend more time with you para patayin ko yung nararamdaman ko para sa yo, pero bakit parang iba yung nangyayari? I’ve been seeing and learning new things about you since last night. Hay Martin, eto ka na naman. You’re only setting yourself up for a major heartbreak. Si Lisa pa rin yan, ang taong ni minsan di ka minahal. I hate to admit it, but that speech you delivered last night was heartfelt. Sunod ka nang sunod sa kin kagabi and even asked me to dance. Why??? Tapos marunong ka ng mag-sorry at mag-thank you. Marunong ka rin palang makisama. Ang bait-bait mo kina Mang Ramon kanina at talagang in-enjoy mo ang pagsalo sa almusal nila. Kahit kinukulit ka nilang kamukha mo anak nila, hindi ka nagsungit. You’ve been smiling a lot since last night, too. And why does it seem that you’re looking at me with longing and love? I caught you last night. Then I caught you again earlier during breakfast. What’s happening, Lisa?“

Martin’s train of thought is cut short as they reach LGC. He gently wakes up ‘Lisa’ who’s still feigning sleep.

Martin: We’re here.

Lisa: (Opens her eyes and looks at Martin) Salamat. So mamaya ba susunduin mo rin ako?

Martin: Bakit? Gusto mo?

Lisa: Hindi sa ganun! Nagtatanong lang. Baka kasi biglain mo na naman ako.

Martin: Weren’t you listening to what I told you earlier? I said ako ang masusunod! Kaya kung gusto kitang sunduin later or tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, eh dapat you’re ready!

Lisa: Oo na, Martin! Sige. Salamat sa paghatid.

After ‘Lisa’ gets off his Jeep, Martin pulls out his phone to text Mona, “Hi Mona! Kagagaling ko lang kay Mang Ramon at Aling Lena. Pinag-almusal pa nila ako. Ang bait nila at napakamasayahin tulad mo.. Nagmana ka pala sa kanila. Isang araw pa lang sa inyo, eh masigla na si Sharamdara. At masaya.”

Inside her office, ‘Lisa’ stealthily checks her text message. She can’t help but smile and feel giddy as she read Martin’s text. She texts him back, “Talaga, Ser Martin? Mabuti naman okay na si Sharamdara. Ikaw din sana okay ka na.”

He texts her back, “Surprisingly, okay ako. Masaya mag almusal sa inyo. Thank you, Mona.”

‘Lisa’ texts back, “Ay mabuti po kung ganun. Sige na po, Ser Martin. Sana maging okay kayo ngayong araw at bukas at sa susunod na bukas.😊”

Martin replies, “Thanks, Mona. Ikaw din.”

Then Martin can’t help but smile and think of ‘Lisa’ all the way to C&C, even as he tries to fight off and kill whatever feelings he has left for her.
